Sugar Gum is a Class 1 heavy hardwood of exceptional durability and is well suited to external building applications. The rare wood species originates from South Australia but was planted here in South Africa in the 1800’s as a replacement to previously imported tropical hardwoods such as Balau.

Available in River Red or Honey Blonde
Fits onto any flat railing up to 90mm wide (side to side) and 60mm thick (top to bottom)
Round railings are custom made per order
Care Instructions
To treat the Sugar Gum, wipe down with a raw linseed oil on a seasonal basis
Do not attempt to sit or stand on this ledge. This product is designed to withstand drinks / flowerpots / laptops etc only
